Dr. Iris is bilingual English and Spanish speaking and is committed to diversity. She has clinical experience working with individuals with depression, anxiety, chronic health issues, and caregiving stress. Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy is the main form of psychological treatment implemented by Dr. Iris, which is a collaborative approach. She has worked with individuals in hospital settings (rehabilitation for brain and spinal cord injuries) providing cognitive assessment and psychological support. She provides psychoeducation on the emotional, cognitive (reduced attention and concentration, executive dysfunction, impaired learning and memory) and physical (fatigue, aches and pains) changes that occur with mood disorders. Dr. Iris believes implementing and maintaining strategies for genuine self-care in brain and emotional health is important as we age. Overall, she is passionate about helping others improve in their daily lives.

Dr. Iris earned her Doctorate in Clinical-Community Psychology from the University of La Verne. She is a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY #28142 ) in the state of California.
